Sebagai pemilik sebuah blog / web anda pasti tidak asing dengan program cPanel, yaitu panel untuk mengatur domain hosting kita. cPanel hanya bisa diakses jika kita sedang online dengan internet.

Tapi bagi anda yang tidak selalu online dengan internet, ada trik agar anda tetap bisa melakukan design web / blog yaitu dengan menggunakan software gratis dari apachefriends.org yang bernama XAMPP, dan sebagai contoh saya akan melakukan instalasi wordpress di localhost (komputer tanpa koneksi internet)

Berikut step by step instalasi wordpress dengan software XAMPP:

1. Decompres / extract XAMPP ke dalam folder C:\xampp atau di D:\xampp

2. Setelah extract berhasil, jalankan aplikasi xampp_start.exe (ada di folder XAMPP), dan akan muncul window yang meminta kita untuk tetap blokir php dan my sql, pilihlah unblok

3.Buka browser anda dan ketikkan http://localhost bila instalasi berhasil maka akan muncul tampilan berikut:

4. Sebagai contoh saya ingin buat blog dengan menggunakan mesin wordpress, sebelumnya anda harus punya script wordpress, anda bisa dapatkan secara gratis di wordpress.org. Copy script wordpress (file sudah di extract) ke folder C:\xampp\htdocs\wordpress.

5.Pada Welcome XAMPP klik phpMyAdmin, kemudian buatlah database kosong dengan nama wordpress atau terserah anda. Kemudian ketik alamat http://localhost/wordpress/ maka akan muncul perintah instalasi dari wordpress. Nama database harus sama dengan database yang kita buat di phpMyAdmin. Bila anda belum melakukan perubahan username dan password MySQL maka default username MySQL adalah root dan tanpa password. Kemudian ikuti petunjuk instalasi dari mesin wordpress sampai selesai.

6. Selesai dan lihat hasil berikut:

Design WordPress On Local Computer (Localhost)

As the owner of a blog / website you must be familiar with the cPanel program, which is panel for managing our domain hosting. cPanel can only be accessed if we are online with the Internet.

But for those of you who are not always online with the internet, there is a trick so you will be able to design a web / blog is by using free software called XAMPP from apachefriends.org, and as an example I would do wordpress installation on localhost (the computer without internet connection)

Here are step by step installation of wordpress engine use XAMPP:
1. Decompres / extract XAMPP in the folder C:\xampp or D:\xampp

2. After successfully extract, run the application xampp_start.exe (in the folder XAMPP), and the window will appear that asks us to keep block php and mysql, choose unblock

3.Open your browser and type the address http://localhost, if your installation successful will display the following view: (see image xampp-welcome)

4. For example I want to do design blog using wordpress engine, before you have to have a wordpress script, you can get for free at wordpress.org, copy the wordpress script (file already in the extract) to the folder c:\xampp\htdocs\wordpress.

5.In XAMPP welcome click phpMyAdmin, then create a blank database with the name of your wordpress. Then type the address on your browser http://localhost/wordpress. It will appear the installation command from wordpress. The name must be same with database  that we created before in phpMyAdmin. If you have not made changes MySQL username and password, the default MySQL username is root and no password. Then follow the installation instructions from the wordpress engine to finish.

6. It done and see the following results: (see image xampp-wordpress)

But there is a simple ways to protect our c:\ partition with software deepfreeze, the workings of the software each time you shutdown the computer, then  special protection partition that we will be right again, if there is a virus that attacks our windows after shutdown so the virus would be lost because our windows are frozen by deepfreeze.
